Faith in Action: Elder Outreach
Faith in Action: Elder Outreach is a wonderful program that trains, mobilizes, and connects volunteers in the community with adults age 65 and over to help them with non-medical activities such as light housekeeping, friendly visiting, yardwork, shopping, and respite. We would love to speak to you further about our program and how you can become involved. Please call us at our main office in Lexington at 252-1365.
We will be holding free orientations to our program on the following dates:
-Monday, September 24th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the ScottCountySeniorCenter, 800 Cincinnati Pk., Georgetown
-Monday, October 22nd from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the ScottCountySeniorCenter, 800 Cincinnati Pk., Georgetown
-Monday, November 26th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the ScottCountySeniorCenter, 800 Cincinnati Pk., Georgetown
A light supper will be served from 5:30-6:00 p.m. To register, call 859-252-1365 or email faithaction@windstream.net. (Only one training session is required to become a volunteer.)
