DCBS Mission Statement
To provide leadership in building high quality, community based human service systems that enhance safety, permanency, well-being and self-sufficiency for Kentucky's families, children and vulnerable adults.
The Division of Protection and Permanency provides consultative services and technical assistance to the service regions regarding issues of child and adult protection, guardianship and permanency for children.
Scott County
The Scott County office is composed of two teams: intake/ investigations and ongoing. The intake team receives the referrals community partners and other sources report to us and investigates those referrals that meet our policy's criteria. The ongoing team works on a long term basis with families whose issues are more severe.
