SERVICES AND HOW THEY ARE PROVIDED:
Bluegrass IMPACT West is a program that provides strength based community services to Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children and their families. This program serves seven counties including Anderson, Bourbon, Franklin, Harrison, Nicholas, Scott, and Woodford. The program relies on collaboration between all child serving agencies, as well as family members/caregivers, in order to “wrap” the most appropriate services around the child and family. The services are specific to each child/family’s needs. Parent/family involvement at every step of the treatment process is essential to the success of the IMPACT service delivery model. A major objective of the program is to empower the child/family by assisting them in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to feel successful in their home/school and community.
Services provided are Service Coordination, In-Home Therapy (including family and individual therapy), School Support, and Flexible Response Therapy/Respite.
The Kentucky IMPACT Program covers all 120 counties within Kentucky. The Bluegrass IMPACT West Region covers Anderson, Bourbon, Franklin, Harrison, Nicholas, Scott and Woodford Counties. |
The Bluegrass IMPACT West Program is sponsored by the Bluegrass Regional Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board, Inc. |
