Interfaith Counseling Center is a non-profit counseling center offering professional pastoral, psychological, individual, marriage and family therapy from a faith perspective. The Center combines the often separated talents of clergy, psychologists and therapists in a unique team approach. We believe the body, mind and spirit are interrelated. Our aim therefore is to help strengthen the whole person and enable persons to make healthy use of his/her faith beliefs.
Counseling is available to individuals, couples, families and groups for a wide range of concerns. Both premarital and marriage enrichment services are available using the Prepare/Enrich Inventory. Services could include, for example; counseling for anxiety, depression, relationships, work-related issues, divorce adjustment, parent/child conflicts, aging, retirement, bereavement, illness, spiritual direction, etc.
The Interfaith Counseling Center provides psychological testing. Programs, seminars and workshops are available to churches and community groups on a wide variety of topics, including; premarital workshops, coping with grief, marriage enrichment, parenting, youth topics, etc.
Referrals are not necessary, although they are welcomed from physicians, ministers, attorneys, school counselors, teachers, businesses, family and friends. Anyone may call directly for an appointment.
Some insurance companies may cover all or a part of services; otherwise, costs are based on ability to pay. Fees vary among staff.
